Health Care Philosophy
I enjoy the continuity of care that is offered in Family Medicine. Getting to know an entire family and helping to direct their medical care is very rewarding. I believe that educating patients about their health is the best form of prevention.
Biography
I was born and raised in Southern California. Having grown up at the beach I feel a connection to the ocean that I maintain even today by tending to my saltwater reef tank at home. I developed an appreciation for exercise at an early age and have always been a competitive athlete. I still enjoy going to the gym and running with my dog Tucker everyday. I moved to the beautiful Northwest in 2000 with my wife who is from the area.
Education and Certification
Dr. Carroll studied medicine at Western University and performed his residency at Eastmoreland Hospital in Portland, OR. He is board certified by the American College of Osteopathic Family Practitioners. He has affiliations with American College of Osteopathic Family Practitioners, American Osteopathy Association, and Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons of Oregon (ACOFP, AOA, and OPSO).
