Rebecca Hoffman, MD
 
I believe the physician and the patient must work closely together to make
the best health decisions for the patient and am committed to providing
access to appropriate health information for that purpose. I am excited about
the new opportunities provided by computer-based systems to improve access to
health care for patients and plan to carefully use these technologies in my
practice as it grows.
My own history includes fifteen years as a professional communicator,
including editing and reporting for newspapers and television, video
production, script writing, and interactive media design. My hobbies and
interests include hiking, canoeing, playing the harp, cultural events
including the ballet, art, symphony, theater, and always, reading, writing
poetry, and gardening.
I live with my husband, two daughters, and our
lab mix, Puddles, white cat, Jinx and two friendly gerbils, Linda and
Crystal, all residing under one roof in Vancouver.
